Research Programs and Collaborations
Through the years, Dr. Concepcion has been the recipient of local and foreign research grants serving as program leader, associate program leader and project leader. These have resulted in many scientific publications and other output. The major research grants she received listed from most recent to earliest are: Philippine Mollusk Symbiont-Internaional Cooperative Biodiversity Group (PMS-ICBG) from the US National Institutes of Health; TerraPharma (Moringa), DDHP2 (Discovery and Development of Health Products 2 Marine), PharmaSeas, and AMOR programs from the DOST-PCHRD, National Cooperative Drug Discovery Group (NCDDG) subcontract from the US National Cancer Institute, and International Foundation for Science (IFS) grants from IFS, Sweden.
